Do you ever have one of those days
Where words come out all which ways
You have it on the tip of your tongue
But it is lost before it has begun
All lined up in your mind
Trying to exit in a neat line
Your tongue starts fumbling around
Your words fall flat on cold ground
Your mind is steaming with disgust
Because with your lips there is no trust
Trust that the words will come rolling out
Making sense is what its about
A random word spoken in the air
Falling on deaf ears everywhere
You argue with yourself and roll your eyes
Your brain wondering how many more tries
Open your mouth and begin to speak
Hoping your intelligence doesn't leak
You shake your head and gather yourself
Fearing you might need clinical help
You close your eyes and take a deep breath in
You clear your throat and begin again
