The Letter Ch. 2

It is a few weeks later, and the house is totally done and I am busy preparing the front bedroom as my office. My computer is all set up and all of the filing cabinets and office furniture have been put into place. I am sitting at my desk and I think about the letter.  I put it in a metal lock-box in the bottom drawer of my desk for safe keeping, hopefully one day for the owner. I go online and Google the previous owners name and to my surprise they had moved out of the country.

It seems that they were heirs to a vineyard in Italy, from a family member, and just up and moved away, I decided to contact this person via email and see what I can find. I find the vineyard's website and start out my email as such..."to whom it may concern, I am trying to get in touch with a person by the name of Paolo Donatellis. I have a letter addressed to him from two years ago, as I have purchased the previous property in Lexi. The letter was found in the old mailbox, I await your instructions as to what to do with the letter, either destroy it, or mail it as to your request."

Two weeks later, still no returned email and I head out to run some errands in town and stop and have lunch with my mom. I stop by my mailbox and am sorting through the days mail and there is another letter! It is mixed in with the rest of my mail and still there is no return address and addressed to the same person from before. Part of me is glad I did not mail the letter to the vineyard, as someone is either obviously disregarding my email or this person is not there.

This has put me on a mission of a lifetime. I am a very intuitive person and it is killing me to not know where these letters are coming from and where they are going to. I go to the realtor to ask questions as to what happend to the previous owners and if anyone around town knows anything about them.
